日前，一些学生争辩说他们已经年龄够大了，不应该住学生宿舍了。为了学生的安全，我认为应该要求学生住宿。

First of all, living in school dormitory provides students with guaranteed safety to a great extent while living outside school has foreshadowed some risks. Once something unpredictable happens students would be put into jeopardy and suffers from a hard-to-protect loss. By contrast, in case of dormers, constant help from roommates and teachers on duty would pull them out of possible danger in time. Safety is the basic need of humans without which all other human functions will be in question.

首先，住在学生宿舍在安全方面提供了很大的保障，然而住在学校外很可能面临一些危险。一旦一些不可预计的事情发生了，学生就会陷入危险，遭受大损失。相比之下，住校的学生，可以相互帮助，执勤老师也会及时地帮学生摆脱危险。安全是人类的基本需要，没有安全，其他的事情也无从说起。

Second, living in school dormitory would make it easy to enjoy the clubs, parties and other social occasions that are essential for the so-called bonds among students. Students could make more friends besides their classmates, never too bad to have lots friends.

第二，住在宿舍更容易去参加俱乐部，派对，还有其他的社交活动，这对于学生之间增加感情是必不可少的。学生们可以交到除了同学之外的朋友，朋友多永远不会是坏事情。

Finally, students want to living outside for the most reason is to have freedom, and mostly, they want to live with their boyfriends or girlfriends. I consider it is a bad idea. Students who are living outside for this reason will probably lead to an abandoned academic problem, because they are easily to skip class for hanging out together.

最后，学生想要住在外面的主要原因是想要自由，其中更多的原因是他们想和男朋友或者女朋友住在一起。我认为这是一个坏主意。为了这种原因外宿的学生很可能会导致荒废学业的问题，因为他们很可能会翘课一起出去玩。

To sum up, students should be required to live in school dormitory, not only for their own safety, but also for their studies.

总之，应当要求学生住宿，不仅仅是为了他们的安全着想，也为了他们的学业。
